Anthropology Library

UofT’s Anthropology Department maintains a small collection of classic books, early journals, and ethnographic and archaeological reports (e.g. Smithsonian, National Museum of Man).┬áSome reports on native North American societies and archaeological remains in the collection are old and relatively rare.

There are a lot of interesting resources housed here, and it’s definitely worth a visit for undergraduate students working on research papers.

The Anthropology Library Catalogue can be downloaded by clicking here.

Visits to the library, located in the basement of the Anthropology Building in room AP 74, can be made by appointment. For assistance in visiting the library or checking out items, contact Kristy Bard at or 416-946-3318.
